Weigh Head Cleaning

How the JEROS ACE System (Weigh Head Cleaning) Works:

The JEROS ACE system, also known as Weigh Head Cleaning, provides the most efficient solution for cleaning scale components. The system setup includes:

  • A subframe with guide rollers mounted inside the washer. The tailor-made rack, loaded with scale components, is easily rolled from the trolley to the subframe. The rack is split into two parts, making it ergonomic and simple to push the loaded rack into the washer.
  • A trolley with guide rollers for transporting the racks with scale parts from the weigher to the washer and back.
  • A set of two tailor-made racks per type of weigher to securely hold the scale parts during cleaning.

The JEROS ACE system ensures optimal cleaning while improving ergonomics and efficiency in your production line.

Hygienic results in 6 to 8 minutes!

Industrial cleaning system for multi-head weigher components

The JEROS ACE cleaning system is the most flexible and efficient solution for cleaning scale parts.

This system significantly reduces the time required to clean scale components, speeding up production by minimising product change-over time, lowering labour costs, and simplifying the cleaning process—all while ensuring a perfect cleaning result.

By automating the washing process, the ACE system guarantees a consistent level of hygiene, eliminating the risk of cross-contamination in production.

Designed to meet the stricter hygiene regulations in the food industry, the ACE system uses a rinse temperature of 85ºC to sanitise all components, ensuring they are bacteria-free—a result certified by Eurofins Steins Laboratory.

Industrial cleaning system for multi-head weigher components

Automate your cleaning process and enjoy the following benefits:

  • One person can manage the entire cleaning operation.
  • The maximum weight to be lifted is only the weight of a single hopper (2.5 - 3.5 kg).
  • JEROS washers are typically placed directly on the weighers' platform, reducing the distance between the weighers and washers, resulting in minimal transport time.
  • In the snack food industry, wash time is typically around 6 to 8 minutes, while in the vegetable industry, it’s approximately 3 minutes.
  • With the JEROS ACE system, while the components are being washed, an employee can dry the weigher centre or prepare the next set for cleaning.
  • The entire cleaning process—loading the racks with hoppers onto the trolley, transporting, rolling the racks into the washer, washing, and simultaneously dry-cleaning the weigher centre, then moving the racks back onto the trolley, transporting, and returning the hoppers to the weigher—takes just 20-30 minutes.
  • The hoppers are cleaned with their flaps open and springs tensioned.
  • After rinsing at 85ºC, the hoppers are nearly dry and ready to be placed back on the weigher.
  • No components are damaged during the process.

Load/unload the scale part directly at the weighing unit easily and safely without any tools.

The trolley with the scale components saved fixed is rolled to the front of the JEROS ACE system.

Push the rack from the trolley into the JEROS ACE System for cleaning without any heavy lifting.

Start the automatic washing process with the optional cycles of only 6 to 8 minutes.

Unique Lid construction

The specially designed lid of the JEROS industrial utensil washers ensures seamless integration into the workflow. The lid construction of the Model 9130 and Model 8150 allows for feeding the machine from three sides, providing easy access for placing items into the washer.

Space saving Model 8160

If the machine is positioned on a platform with limited height and space, the most commonly used model is the Model 8160.

This model features a roller curtain that automatically opens once the wash program is complete.

Optional IP65-Controller

The external controller is designed to meet the EHS Standard 50 for machinery and equipment safety, as well as the MESS standard. It can be mounted directly on the utensil washer or on the wall for convenient access.
