Baking trays are very grimy/are not grimy

Rear scraper is not adjusted properly or is defective

Should be done daily. With a single pass through the cleaning system, up to 95% of the grime adhering to the brush is removed. Please note - this must never be done in reverse!

If the edges are not cleaned, the side brushes may need replacing. It is possible to do this yourself

I have bought new trays – are there any reservations?

New trays need to be burned off at 260-280°C (they have to be coated with oil first)

I have silicone coated trays. What kind of tray washer should I use?

A tray cleaner with nylon brushes. They can also be washed using water

Is it OK to clean the machine with water?

Oiling system and settings need explanation

JEROS tray washer with oil system has an oil trough and a special cylinder system for applying oil. The amount to be applied is easily regulated by a simple adjustment to the application cylinder.

The machine “hums” but will not start

One of the fuses in the fixed installation is defective

The machine deforms baking trays

There is possibly a coating of e.g. caramel on the lower cylinder. Alternatively, the cylinder pressure may be too high

The machine does not clean the baking trays effectively

Steel or nylon brush pressure may not be adjusted correctly

Brushes are possibly dirty and need to be cleaned

Brushes may be worn out

The machine does not convey the baking trays through the system

Check whether baking trays are deformed

Steel- or nylon brushes are too tight

Cylinder pressure is not high enough

The machine will not start

Check that machine is connected correctly

Fuses in the fixed installation are possibly defective

The waste draw is possibly not in place. Correct this and restart machine

Motor may have been overloaded and the motor circuit breaker needs resetting

Put machine in reverse and run them out again

Facts about detergent and dosage

JEROS machines are equipped with an advanced detergent dispenser. This allows the machine to take on detergent only when it is necessary, and only in the correct amounts. This gives a real reduction in detergent consumption! (thanks to the dispenser)
JEROS machines allow the user to adjust the amount of detergent dispensed via the panel (please refer to the manual)
Detergent dispenser is not functioning
Check whether detergent container is empty
If there is detergent in the container:
- Detergent sensor may be defective
- Detergent pump may be defective
- Detergent dispenser may be wrongly adjusted
- Detergent lance may be clogged and should be cleaned
Machine will not dispense detergent, and diode in detergent key is flashing
- Detergent needs topping up, and if this is not the case:
- Detergent lance may be clogged and should be cleaned
- Suction hose may be clogged / defective
- Detergent pump may be defective

Machine will not take in water

Check that the tap is turned on. If this does not solve the problem, please contact a service technician.

Water pressure may be too low

Rinse temperature is too low/high. Should be 84 º C

The heating element possibly needs replacement

The pressure switch may be defective

NTC-sensor may be defective

Start-up time takes longer than setting indicates

The machine is equipped with a safety function that starts the wash program only when correct temperature is reached. In other words, if a cold water supply is connected it will take longer to reach correct temperature than if connected to 50ºC warm water.

The pressure switch in the rinsing tank may be defective

The heating element in the rinsing tank may be defective

If the water is warm enough and the machine does not stop, please call a service technician

There is too much lather in the machine

You could be using the wrong type of detergent

Softener dosage is too high

Wash temperature is too low

Washing up performance is not satisfactory. What can be the reason for this?

Water level in machine may be too low

Detergent dosage may be wrong

Bottom filter may be clogged

Orifices in jets may be clogged

Washing system is not functioning properly

Blade wheel in washing pump may be defective

By reducing hardness you can:

Cut down on detergent consumption
Extend the life of the machine in general
Get a better result when washing articles by using softening agent
